Administrative Support – Elgin, IL


  • Provide general administrative support including phone reception, electronic faxing, electronic filing and company email
  • Assist with accounts receivable and collections
  • Create and/or edit various documents including, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel documents.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Required: Advanced experience in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Comfort working in a small office, often independently
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines, interruptions, and multiple tasks/projects occurring at once.
  • Attention to detail/organization.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Proactive initiative.
  • Business phone etiquette
  • Filing (electronic and paper)
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Language skills (English), including the rules of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Technical knowledge/capability in the following areas:
    • Adobe Acrobat Standard (not just Reader)
    • Sage ACT! Premium 2012, or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
    • WordPress (website) and Swiftpage (email marketing) Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience; 2+ years of experience preferred.

This Position Offers:

  • Initially part-time work (approximately 2 – 3 days per week) with potential for full-time work beginning in June (either for summer months only or ongoing)
