On-site Food Handlers Certification

Food handlers cards will be required for all Illinois food handlers as set forth in the IDPH Food Service Sanitation Code, Subchapter M.

Those employed by a food service establishment such as a hospital or nursing home that is not a restaurant are required to receive or obtain training in basic food handling principles by July 1, 2016.

Would you like all your existing staff to be trained and receive their food handlers certification at the same time? Would you like to prevent your staff from having to travel to another location to participate in the training and receive their food handlers card? On-site training by a qualified Nutrition Care Systems dietitian may be your best option.

As an approved provider of the Illinois food handler certification program, we offer on-site training for you and your staff.
